CLEANING MAT

Replacing blades
To remove a used blade from Slice™ Fabriqué:
  1. Unplug and turn off Slice™ Fabriqué.
  2. Place Slice™ Fabriqué on its side or upside-down.
  3. Using the Slice™ Fabriqué blade adjustment wrench, turn the blade housing to the left (counter-clockwise) until the blade comes out
  4. Discard the old blade and place a new blade into the Slice™ Fabriqué.
  5. Using the Slice™ Fabriqué blade adjustment wrench, turn the blade housing to the right (clockwise) until the blade housing is finger tight.
Note: To move the blade up or down, use the blade adjustment wrench to tighten or loosen the blade housing.

Note: To ensure proper cutting, always home the blade after replacing blade. See “Homing the Blade” in Basic Operations.
  1. Choking hazard: keep Slice™ Fabriqué unit and replacement blades out of reach of children.
  2. Do not insert or remove Slice™ Fabriqué blades with your fingers.
  3. Do not replace blades when the unit is plugged in or turned on.

Cleaning Slice™ Fabriqué

Gently wipe exterior of Slice™ Fabriqué with slightly damp cloth.

Note: Do not use chemical-based or alcohol-based cleaners on Slice™ Fabriqué, including, but not limited to, acetone, benzene and carbon tetrachloride.

Do not clean with abrasive materials. Do not immerse in water or other liquids.

Do not clean Slice™ Fabriqué while it is plugged in.

Care and cleaning of the glass cutting mat

  1. Use only the recommended repositionable adhesive (see step 2 page 10).
  2. Clean the mat with a damp cloth or mild soap and water, then promptly dry it off.
  3. Do not drop the mat.
  4. Always use on a flat surface.
  5. Do not use abrasive cleaners or chemicals.
  6. Do not wash in dishwasher.
